Don Bosco Church Lingarajapuram is appreciated and awarded the title, “Karnataka Proud COVID Warrior” by Aam Aadmi Party for the yeomen service rendered to the slum-dwellers and homeless during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The award comes as a recognition for feeding the poor during these trying times. Fr Arunkumar received the plaque for Don Bosco Church Lingarajapurm in the absence of Fr Aloysious Santiago, Rector and parish priest. “I dedicate this award to all those who strengthened our hands through generous contributions and to all the volunteers who sacrificed their time and health during the outreach programme”, said Fr Santiago.
