Savio Child Services

Our works for the disadvantaged and marginalized and excluded children are grouped under the Savio Child Services. The day care work, the Tuition classes for the Slum Children come under these services. As many mothers are working as house maids in families, they need their children to be looked after profitably and safely. Or else, they will make their elder children and mostly the girls, to look after their siblings at home, which leave them also not going to school and not getting an education. It is to address these concerns that we had started the Child Care Centre. We have 80 children enrolled but 68-70 children frequent. They are given one meal a day, with milk, bread or bun and eggs. There are 2 on the staff who look after them.
